Instead of focusing on a general level of intelligence like IQ tests, the NeurOlympics measure cogntive skills, such as decision-making. These skills are more important in predicting job performance than IQ and hence better suited to serve as a basis for hiring decisions.
No, practice is not necessary. To get acquainted with the games, there are short practice rounds for each of them. More is not needed, as practicing the games does not have a great influence on scores.
No. Gamers do not have an automatic advantage over other participants. The games are relatively simple and measure brain potential, rather than game skills. Even though gamers may have certain brain skills like quick decision-making and intuition, it doesn't mean they'll automatically perform better in the NeurOlympics.
Stress, or other issues, such as a bad night's sleep, may have a slight impact on your perfomance on the games. We therefore advise to be well-rested and calm before playing the games.
Yes. Although some changes to the results are possible, these are minor and may be based on differences in concentration or the amount of sleep before playing.
Yes. You can use a candidate's results to inform the onboarding process by sharing the results with your onboarder. This allows them to have the tools to create the optimal conditions for successful performance, such as assigning mentors or choosing a suitable workspace.
Yes. Insights based on the NeurOlympics can also be helpful for both vertical and horizontal advancements. Based on prior experience in giving advice on, for example, career switches, we are able support internal mobility matters.
Yes. Knowing someone's brain profile can aid in deciding on appropriate development programs to help every talent thrive.
Yes. We asses the building blocks of human performance, the brain. This includes predictors of leadership capabilities.
We have cognitive data from players from various leagues who are highly successful on the field. By comparing the cognitive data from your players to the data from these top-players, we can make predicitions about your players future performance on the field.
The cognitive skill set of a player is definitively relevant for pitch performance, precisely as important as physical, mental, technical and last but not least tactical skills of the player. We see these 5 KPI’s as drivers for the overall performance on the pitch, this is why we add cognition to the overall picture. But we do not give percentages per KPI.
The games use contrasting colors to diminish adverse effects for color-blind people. Color-blindness, however, comes in varying degrees. Thus, we suggest candidates play the demo as a test (www.neurolympics.nl/demo). If the candidate cannot distinguish the colors, we advise against using the games in this candidate's hiring process.
Yes, cognitive diversity is important. You can get this diversity by taking current team members' brain profiles into account when creating your goal profile.

The products are hosted under neurolympics.nl domain and the entire system runs on Amazon AWS location Ireland (EU). Our database is not publically accessibly and can only be reached by our servers. Data encryption provides further security for your data.
To protect against unorthorized access, we use two-factor authenticiation. Additionally, we don't allow access with personal email adresess (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.).
Our games should be played on laptops or desktop computers and work on all browsers. We rec
